The journey,the trials and tribulations, are all part & parcel of the horological experience.The 'lesser' watches as you look back were perhaps instrumental in formulating the necessary mindset and appreciation as you move up the proverbial ladder. I'm not sure it's such a good thing to "restart", go directly to the prize and miss out on the early days of exploring and fine tuning the collection.
