i might dispose some to streamline my current collection..
...as over the years i realized it is difficult to be collecting as i simply cannot have them all or follow with every product launched.. Although my watches are inexpensive compared to some out there, i may dispose some to focus only on ceratin brands as i realized, certain brands have been at the top of the list and its prices are skyrocketing every year and the feeling of not acquiring them now may diminish in future once certain models production stopped. I am sure at times we think of what could be better put to use with available finances as compared to buying another watch. We all have two wrists and to not wear my watches as much as i like is one factor i may not keep so many and maybe have 3 watches that i like. I am in a dillema now to whether or not add another one to my collection. Its difficult to answer your question really... Some brands also hold better intrinsic values as compared to others imo. Tough one, maybe i get my wife to buy me one so that i dont feel so bad
Good question Fernando :)

I would have concentrated on a few Patek minute repeaters: 5078, 5074, 5016, all in platinum...presumably through auctions...plus maybe one or two independents, for instance: Dufour, Voutilainen, in other words, five watches instead of fifty. Note that th...

But if I had the chance to go back in time, I'd take it a step further and think about the money that I wasted on other things when I could have plowed them through watches instead! I keep thinking about money that I wasted 10 years ago that I always equa...

Oris watch? . Really, I have no regret at all. Well, maybe there were 2 little regrets, but those regrets were done with no prior knowledge of what the future had to offer. One is regular carlo ferrara, before I knew there was an open dial one. I bought t...

if I would start over again knowing what I do now, I would probably skip some of the very early watches I bought when I did not know what I like, but otherwise I would probably arrive at something pretty close to what I currently have. If I would travel b...

I can really summarize this almost entirely in one sentence. I would never buy from any gray market seller, and I would never buy what the community valued more than I did myself. I was a bit of a sheep in the beginning. I had the income to throw in the f...

The thought that immediately occurred to me was that if I were starting over again, even with the full knowledge that I have today, there are a number of pieces that I've owned that I would buy again. For me it's a matter of a journey -- one's development...

It's not the physical aspect but the experiences garnered and what that memory holds that really counts. If I ask myself the same question,I probably wouldn't change much, probably because I'm lazy but who knows what the future will bring. There definitely...

If I could start again, it would be much easier and avoid all the mistakes that I made... Some mistakes coated more, some less.... But if I flip the coin.... These mistakes were a sort of school... By your misaes you learn.... And you do not only learn bu...
