Neither is practical but have historical and technical aspects that make them intriguing Are they display objects more than Watches Should they gave a beautiful display case in the wall? Or do you actually wear them? ...

I think the Big Egiziano is even more monstrous than this Deep Sea... I hope I will be able to wear the Rolex! If I can't, it will be the same than the Panerai, I won't get it. Best, Nicolas

You need to be exceptionally big, like a body builder, heavy weight boxer or any orher big athlete to pull these off. For any one else it is more a shelve piece ...

I guess that leaves a Chinese guy like me that's around 6.0 feet tall and 191 pounds with a 7.25 inch wrist out. Not enough muscles I'm afraid.

I'm told the Dutch are the tallest people in the world; followed by Estonia, and Latvia. The men are on average typically around 5 feet 11 inches tall or around 180 cm.

It’s not the size that matters, but the way you use it 😉 ...

I applaud manufacturers that actually create impractical. On the other end of the spectrum are Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra and the RM UP-01 Ferrari. May those that can acquire, be those that can revel in enjoyment. -John

It wears great I can tell you.... This one is circa 1956, and as purchased by me directly from the now old guy who had it since 1967.... Watch never serviced or open, original strap as well, ...  

But on my wrist, the depth gauge, which is almost the same size, is... Enormous! ...  

If the lines were scaled down though it would be top of my list. If I can’t wear it with easy confidence then I won’t buy it.

I have a DSSD and the Ploprof, those are monsters to me but these 2 are seriously iout of the ball park. Between the 2, I will pick the PAM for a more balanced design. The Rolex looks odd with a dial thats small for the case size.
