Three Services, Two Wars
Service history is known for the Royal Navy deck watches (top and left), courtesy of the Royal Maritime Museum in Greenwich. The lone Kriegsmarine navigation watch (bottom, also an Observatory prize winner) remains a mystery as the Hamburg depot was bombed during WWII and records destroyed. The two WWI veterans (top right - half chronometer, bottom right - one button chronograph) of the US Army Corps of Engineers have much of their hand-painted radium lume intact but, thankfully, recent testing shows there is virtually no residual radon. I love these tool watches!!

Two militaries in my collection over the years . . .

They're more common than their stablemate reference CK2292 . . .
. . . which had solid stainless steel cases as opposed to the UK2292's alloy/stainless hybrid. I believe the more desirable C K2292s were exclusively RAF issue; not sure about the U K2292s. Art

That Tudor is definitively one of my favorites...
... got it some years ago after many years of hunting. Ci meaning is not known still today though there are several theories. It was issued in the early 80ās to our Navy tactical divers (UDT teams). Seconds hand is not correct but I didnāt want to change ...

The seconds hand is all part of its history...
The watches went through many changes during military service and this is an important part of its history. Great watch Abel.

I know nothing about the Hebron other than it's approximate age-40s,50s.
The IWC is a Kriegs Marine watch, purchased by the German Navy in 1943. The caseback has a rather offensive etching on it that has gotten me in trouble posting it in the past. You can probably guess what it is.
