Just never did anything for me. I prefer manual wind PAMs, I don't like bracelets, and I suspect there are some who would say the last thing that belongs on a Panerai is a bracelet 
But yesterday, while visiting an AD, I spotted this PAM 106 in titanium with anthracite dial in the preowned display. Tried it on and fell in love. Even the bracelet appealed to me when it was on my wrist. Go figure....
And I was never a fan of the AP ROO, until I tried a Themes Navy on. Liked it so much, it came home with me the same day.
