That's the frustrating part about this watch

Everyone assumes it's related to the car manufacture, which I can understand as the model is also called the "Hydraulica".
Pontiac is a Belgian company which assembled Super Compressor watches like the 100s of others during this time period.
I don't think there was anything special about them, besides selecting a nice combination of parts.
Here we can see another Super Compressor I own with a brand name more familiar to some because they were part of the Dirty Dozen, here in a 40mm case.
And here is a watch I stumbled upon on IG a few days ago. Pretty much the exact configuration, except under the name MYR and in 36mm.
So, if anything, there is nothing special about this being a Pontiac, just that's in a lovely combination of elements in a 42mm EPSA Super Compressor case.

Yes its an EPSA Super Compressor dated 1969. Brandon😉
