Horological Meandering

Hello all, My friends post yesterday (L.Joel   First time poster, long time lurker... ) has inspired me, so I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to this community. It is always a matter of curiosity when new people show up on disc...

Actually Nicolas uses “tic tac” to describe watches and possibly downplay his love for these little ticking timepieces. Tic-tac (or tick-tack) was used in the sixteenth century to denote a clock (and tick-tock is used in the same fashion). Or it could be ...
