Very much agree with your 2 points:
(1) neo-retro trend is like comfort food. We don’t always want 3-star Michelin, sometimes a plate of mom’s best dish is more than enough to keep us happy.
(2) the price vs. value conundrum is still there even if some brands profess to give us more watch for our money. And I think production might still be too high overall for the market (excluding Rolex steel sports watches).
Anyway I have been very tempted by the Rexhep Rexhepi dress watch and I am definitely not a dress watch guy. I hope that the limited pre-order number has been filled up so I am not tempted anymore.
