Your comments are very appropriate. English watchmaking style of George Daniels meant more of frosted/gilded bridges and plates and rather austere angles and modest bevelling. Whilst I agree that this is not inferior in any way, I feel Daniels’ watches definitely lack the luxurious finish of the GF Handmade1.

Below is the watch bearing the name Daniels; but made by Roger Smith on instructions of Daniels ( I recall that to be one of the 35 Daniels anniversary watches), adhering to Daniel’s approach in design and finish.
And one from Roger Smith bearing his own name. Some extra attention seems to have been lavished on finishing.
