Horological Meandering

Packed up the Macan GTS and hit the road. HWY 395 to Tahoe. Did the same trip last year in our overachieving Honda Fit Sport which did well but other than gas milage the Porsche is certainly an upgrade. From Tahoe we went to the San Francisco bay area and...

don't do it justice. Its totally off the chart. I really wish I could have gotten to it slightly earlier light wise (unwanted shadows from other boats) and that it wasn't so close to the giant plastic boat on its port side. Then again, thankyou universe f...

I suppose you "might" say my very first car was related .... a '64 VW beetle. Other than that and one Fiat (128 4 door) I've been Japan-Man all my life (cars and bikes) so its basically a new experience for me. So far we are liking it. I had sold the PD P...

Pulled out my RX-10 III and zoomed in and said "that's the Thunderbird down there". She looked through the viewfinder and still didn't belive it was the Thunderbird. I went to look (with camera) and sure enough it was the boat in question. One of the crew...

we even had the same awesome rooms at both the Peppertree Inn (Tahoe City) and at the Cavalier in San Simeon. Just different wheels! this is a great little hatch! Keepin' it 'till the wheels fall off! ...

Love the first photo with the Blancpain. Really impressed someone was trunking it... the water is NOT that warm that north. You and Judy really had a great time and glad to see the Porsche Design back with the Porsche Macan.

Near the end of summer the lake is ...oh.. mid to high 60s, "if" you are near the shore and/or "if" you don't start heading downward depthwise. Cheers bro! Here's a few more.... ...  

I waded in and it was definitely a full suit zone. I saw no one with a shorty and no one without booties for that matter. Tasty little tubes there though! Felt like high 50s-low 60s.

is also a great place to head north from on HWY1. A ton of beauty for a lot of miles... winding along the cliffs next to the Pacific. I highly recommend it!
