in a world where a UAE sheik commissions a .999 silver covered AUDI (think about that next time you gas up at the petrol station, since as you can see the world's petrodollars are hard at work at improving humanity in general), to a recent announcement that an Andy Warhol "Mao" silkscreen will probably be sold privately for USD120mm, compared to the fact that the US govt pledged USD3.25mm to help Myanmar (Burma) cope with 22,000 dead due to a massive tropical cyclone, there is very little that should surprise us these days. I have nothing to say about the RJ brand, as I do not know it and have never seen any of his watches close up; however, I do have a problem with the use of shipwreck metal. if there were human casualties, which in the case of titanic were significant, then the shipwreck is a graveyard in memory of those poor souls that lost their lives. it should remain untouched. but that is just my opinion. with regards to the absurdities of the metals used, the functions being provided, or in this case the lack thereof...well, if a UAE shiek is so bored that he has to cover his AUDI with .999 silver, then as you can see there is no necessary end to the possibilities. after all my, in my opinion, we are an integral part of the movement that feeds the frenzy.
