Surprisingly
The caseback disturbs me the most with its steam punk design. I don't know if they tried to mimic the dial but I find it in stark contrast with the concept and quite out of line. It's not bad but for the money I can think of a long list of watches I would buy instead.

Not sure they do
Have meanwhile read your post above and the article on monochrome. While they speak about the individual testing, there is not so much explanation about the changes to base movement. Maybe someone knows more?

I would never buy a watch with a Miyota movement ireespective of how attractive the case and dial may be and that is not because I am a watch snob but it is because they do not keep good time. I am of course speaking from experience. Of course if accuracy...

it is better finished than a Kurono. And the movement as stated has been tweaked to be more accurate. Is it worth double a Kurono? Hmmmm....
