But you MUST look up and read about Stefano Bemer. Italian and Florentine, with a sort of modern innovative genius that may make you think of da Vinci. Okay, maybe a bit much, but I do admire his story. The great actor Daniel Day-Lewis was an apprentice under Bemer for a while, which is an intriguing story. Sadly, Stefano died young. I think you’ll appreciate his story and talent.

Agreed. Berluti is "Blake" (glued) construction whereas Corthay and John Lobb are "Goodyear Welt" (stitched) construction.
That's another strength about the Corthays!
