The analogy: Brunello Cucinelli is a clothing brand that makes fairly expensive clothes out of wool, cashmere, and cotton. The clothes are fairly expensive and designed to be mostly low key, natural colors (camel, cream, grey), pastels, and to be casual elegant. Stefano Ricci is another brand of expensive clothes made of fine materials. But their clothes are more flourished with bolder patterns, a slight Las Vegas spirit imbued with them, a bit more flamboyant and some peacock-ing. Both beautiful clothes and each have their place.

I don't own anything from Ricci. And I own a few pieces from Cucinelli. I find everything from both brands to be too expensive, so I can't say I recommend them.

I’m guessing majority will vote the top and keeping the bottom 6, at least I am. The bottom 6 consists of nice brands, micro brands and earlier PF and DR where people are starting to pay more attention. Very interesting move.
