Roberge (and IWC and Rolex).
I used to own a Vacheron Overseas (old model), and it really was quite perfect for the luxury sports watch role. However, I could never get the bracelet to be a comfortable length. (It wasn't forgiving. Some bracelets feel okay if they're a millimeter or two off; that bracelet did not.) Also, while it was really quite robust and gave me no trouble when I subjected it to such indignities as swimming and softball, it had too much of a tendency to become magnetized.
Roberge is an obscure brand associated with a jeweler. As such, many of its watches are the quartz-with-diamonds variety. However, when they decide to make a good watch they are quite capable of it, and their case and design work is excellent. I have a 1000-meter diver (COSC certified) that is quite robust and probably my most luxurious true sports watch. Other candidates for the role within my collection are various IWCs and Rolexes.
Appreciate it, Art

Speaking of GO, some of their watches were definitely in the frame for me as my hybrid daily wearer choice, but the one that I liked the best from a visual appearance perspective (the Sport Evlution Impact) was just too big for me. Navigator Perpetual Cal...

I am taking either my Patek Nautilus, AP Royal Oak, VC Overseas, Breguet Marine or BB Aqualung. All of them have their merits. But if real sport, in my case diving, is in the program, I am choosing one of many Rolex Submariners - those are very hard to be...

Not only do I appreciate it's masculine, Genta-inspired looks, stellar bracelet and intricately detailed dial, but I also appreciate that it's tough enough to be worn as a true sports watch should be, yet not so expensive that you'd be afraid to do so. To...
