how not to echo your feelings on the matter...even though we much rather concentrate on the "pure"aspect of it,we are forced behind closed door to deal anyway with the harsh reality of prices.
Ultimately,we have a great power,that is the one to avoid to buy or decide to buy,each and every one of us has a blank canvas in front,onto which painting his values,priorities,standards.
The vast majority here is composed by likeminded people,its called "The Purists "after all,which defines ,if you want a small minority;no wonder posts about huge advertising and neverending endorsements spark controversy and disappointment.
Us ,and moderators who are doing a superfine job,shouldn t be surprised about it really....please lets keep this a safe Island , a very little one where our group of people can still play and voice their feelings......if you take a place like this out of the question,where else????
I understand the importance of a site like ours to become a big platform for brands to advertise,its paramount for the existence of it,but I really hope we will continue to say whatever we like without fearing to upset a sponsor,friend,acquaintance and ultimately be part of the whole circus those price rises are the expression of.

I can think of one prominent Geneva brand in particular that has become expert at reducing the level of handwork in its watches while simultaneously putting prices through the roof.... More power to them if their customers will swallow it; I'll pass.
