I always liked the Seiko Tuna's and went for the 'gold' SBDX014 a few years ago. I mainly use it as my weekend or holiday watch although in some occasions as my cocktail watch as well;-).
Everything about this watch works well, monster movement, fits well even on my tiny wrist, looks funky, great heritage ... and all the above you already mentioned.
It even looks good and more expensive next to a Breguet (in my head).
I can even use it as my beer watch ;-)

As a watch aficionado and an ex recreational diver I’ve enjoyed the reading from top to bottom. Also I’ve learned new things, for example the
use of hydrogen for deep diving. It sounds a bit scary. Thanks for sharing.
