Midnight miracle man : PPN
50 years ago, when I was a kid, my late father was making this possible, do not ask me too much how, but people came from worldwide to him to get their Rolex datejust and day date done.
He has a rare ability to make the midnight miracle happening.
I remember him adjusting this in a way there was a concordance of the things to be at the second sharp that you could see and hear ( and I've seen it several times ) that the click at midnight was totally synchro with the date AND day change.
It was to me pure magic !
It seems to be an exceptionnal feature on a watch even today.
He used to sign on the back innerside a very small PPN engraved with the date when he has made a watch revision/repair.
Look on yours if has ever been in his hands, I would love to see.
He's been working for Rolex Brussels for his whole carreer from 1951-88 and went several times a year to Geneva to receive or give technical tuitions.
Many world heads, ministers, presidents, and emperors have sent their Rolex to be serviced in Brussels, mostly because of this unique skill.
I still have a lot of souvenirs and goodies from his legacy, most are unique items or very scarce.
I guess this answer your question, even if not completely accurately on the subject/brand.

I can't find it! Joke aside, it takes the 7750 in the my Sinn 103 a good 10 mins to switch day & date, it's never bothered me. Now if my life depended on it I'd just wear something different.

Instantaneous date changes are of course prefered but I could live also with a 90 minutes delay. Typically I am sleeping during that time 🕛🫡

It does Arabic first and then switches to English, so yes it happens.

I really do think this C6e True GMT is the Best and most Unique looking CW to date... looks like nothing other! Your double date, dual language Seiko sounds very cool, I really have to get myself a piece with a day&date display.

Mine had to go back to the Spa, since it's date wheel got lodged by that moment of carelessness. Lesson learned, business first, date change later. 😃
I have a personal policy to not use a quick corrector between 9 and 3
If I pick up an unwound watch with a date feature, and it stopped in these hours, I will wind the movement and then move the hands through 12:00 and see what happens. Some movements have protection mechanisms to protect the quick date change feature, but ...
I subscribe to that policy as well, but have had 2 lapses of attention in some 30 or so years...
I've learned that it's always a good idea not to set the date when in a hurry or when distracted !
If not instantaneous, I would personally accept a 20 minutes wait.

The watch at issue is the Christoper Ward C63 True GMT. I believe that it may be ETA2892 or 2894 based, with a module. Since the 2892/2894 change the date close to midnight, perhaps the particular construction here is the issue.
