I'm a proud owner of a Generation 1 Patriot, love it to pieces.

Thought I would have chosen it until I saw Gen 2 in person and ultimately decided that way.

Something I have to come to find out and love is that replacement parts are totally within reason... screw up the bezel, they will install it and replace it for like $100 (can't remember the exact quote) but it wasn't the usual mandatory Complete Overhaul...
