The UWD movement in the Meisterbund is truly nice - and I hope it will get placed into a steel / white gold case at some point.
As for the Schleppzeiger chrono - flyback or rattrapante (or both)? Thought the latter due to the third pusher at 8 o'clock but could be wrong...
The B-Uhe looks fairly wearable and while I am not a massive fan of pre-aged looking lume generally, they managed to pull it off relatively well IMHO.

It should be a non-flyback rattrapante as its a modified 7753
Or to be precise, I believe its an ETA 7753 (i.e. a 7750 with re-arranged subdials to 3/6/9) that has been modified by La Joux-Perret - quite sure its not Soprod. Such a rattrapante movement with dual column wheels has already been used before by Panerai ...

The Meisterbund is very nice! I noticed the wear/tear on the leather strap already...
is the design of the lugs too short? It's showing on both sides, near the case. Otherwise, the movement looks really good. Rgds Raymond
I had noticed that strap problem too...
and mentioned it directly. They have seen the problem too and it will be corrected. It looked to me, 'though, to be a problem of the band and not the case. Don

Would anyone buy a 'watchmaker' type watch from Sinn?
It's interesting... I don't like the dial but... the truth is, the back of the watch is perfectly well executed... probably leaves something to be desired for 'Purists' but at a glance, it's quite well made... That's the odd thing these days... sometimes ...
Interesting feedback, Mostel. I think we should rather consider the way the watch is made rather than its name.
That is why I decided, very recently, to buy a Montblanc Villeret Chronograph. Some years ago, I wouldn't have imagined I would own, one day, a Montblanc watch. That is why I like only a few, very few Pateks. Not because of the name as I don't care about ...

It's harder to compare Montblanc, with a storied history of ultra-high value pens... fineness, soft and exquisite beauty, noble metals, to Sinn, which has a workhorse type history... It is easier to imagine a fancy Montblanc watch--very easy--than a Sinn ...

In terms of who makes them, you are absolutely right that the folks at Sinn are not blueing the screws - the whole movement is delivered by UWD - who make movements for some other German watch brands. I guess - given Lang\'s heritage - that they may well ...
Mostel, you are touching a very important subject, i.e. brand authenticity.
While you can buy movements of any degree of fancyness, you cannot buy authenticity with any given amount of funds. Authenticity develops from your decisions, your statements and your day to day conduct. In tthis particular case I can fully understand you...

I find the Sinn to be very good-looking. The numerals differentiate it from other watch dials, and yet not so radically that they detract from the overall purpose (?) of the watch-to put Sinn in a new category where one would consider this watch when look...
