I collect danish mondernist Classics from the 50`ies and 60`ies. Vintage sells above new production if patina and condition is right.

As you say it’s only original once. There is also a question of the right/ to nice patina to leather, wood ect.

. . . pool tables count as furniture? The only sensible way to buy is second hand. Distress sales are common. My early '70s Delta set me back maybe 25¢ on the $ against a comparable new table. Art
