No wonder vintage JLC diving watches are rare. They were all limited production runs and discontinued after only 1-3 years. I'm guessing they weren't big sellers for JLC at the time (like the Rolex Daytona in the 70s and 80s)?

The only thing was to gather all the informations I found, year after year, in one thread. It may help those who want to build a collection. I am also working on a more general article about vintage divers, from different brands, those who counted in the ...

Diving watches, of course, but also Military and Chronometers. Some others are interesting, such as the Futurematic, or some Chronographs. The Reversos are top, too, as well as some Memovoxes, other than the Diving ones. The Mystery / Galaxy, too, and the... 

that they often give me an incentive to read also outside this forum, search the web about movements and watches you are talking about. The same I did in your 100K post about JLC diving watches and I must say that a Polaris 1968 is quite a cool watch (but...
