It is funny how the horological gods have taken me this way

I've always felt like I'm kind of a "rugged watch enthusiast", but have realized that collecting vintage watches has taken me through a different path, and I love it.

In the second picture you can appreciate the texture of the dial and the printing.

I once said to a friend: it is supposed I like black dialed watches, but I have much more clear (silver, off white, and so on) dialed watches.

What does it mean?

I just embrace my destiny.

Best.

It's amazing what we learn about ourselves and how we sometimes surprise ourselves!

I could write a poem or song about that. What does your choice for different dial colors/structures/textures mean? You are open minded. ☺️ All the best Thomas P.S.: Your watch is lovely.

Hello dear MTR, and thank you!

Your post seems like a poem to me. I think I simply love watches, being able to appreciate the little and finer details in them. Like you said: Yes! I'm open minded to appreciate their beauty. Best regards. René

The good point here is that you have got beautiful pieces, and that enough to start looking other way. It is funny that my path started with my Planet Ocean and has since switched to watches more of the vintage kind you hunted. Today if a were to buy a di...
