I am from Toronto as well (although live away from the city now) and have seen a lot more nautilus and AP in Yorkville over the last five years. Submariners are quite plentiful of course though.
I randomly sat next to someone wearing a Lange 1 with my Zeitwerk on the wrist at a bluejays game - best game I'd been to in years. I would say the most unique unique sighting was an UR210 on the wrist of a gentleman during a meeting, but that was a number of years ago.

I would assume everyone here is a watch lover at some level. We all like to see watches, in public and in the stores. I, for one am a "wrist watcher", I like to sneak a peek at what others are wearing, I pass judgement on no one, just like to look. I live...

Rolex everywhere. A lot of Panerai too.

Saw a Blancpain this weekend (rare sighting). A few Pateks on clients. A JLC reserve de marche at a swim meet, of all places. A Grande Lange 1 at Mother's Day brunch. A few UNs from time to time. But Rolex by far is the most common "nice" watch that I see...

One of the reasons I never want to buy one.
As expected, lots wearing Rolex and Omega, but also quite a few Cartier...

...and recently a Chopard, a few vintage Patek, a couple VC, one AP RO and quite a few Breitling and vintage JLCs, a Chanel and a Hermes. That's the ones I remember from the past couple years or so. I see quite a few watches, living near NYC and authentic...
I've seen a Panerai in, of all places, the local . . .

. . . DMV. On a woman's wrist, at that. I was sitting behind her, a relatively young and attractive lady wearing sweats. At first, I thought she was wearing an homage. But after a few glances, I realized it was the real deal. So I said, "Pardon me, but ar...

... You'll see everything from Casio to Breguet. Rolex is the most prevalent and just today I've seen five. Also depends where you are in this vast city. If you're hanging out in Calabasas, you'll see Pateks all over. The other day in Beverly HIlls, a guy...

...Apple watches dominate. But I also see many Rolexes of all flavors. I’ve seen one vintage IWC, a Panerai, a Sinn, a number of TAG-Heuers, a Longines, the odd Breitling, and surprisingly few Omegas (given how many are made). The only high-end watches I’...
I was just having this conversation with someone the other day!

I'm from London, lived in NYC for nearly 10 years, and now live in Colorado. Not counting Rolex or Panerai, and obviously outside of watch specific events, spotting a 'high end' watch is still pretty rare. I was once at a restaurant sat next to someone we...
