If you are buying both brand new....you will lose money, esp when it is ladies watch
So don't even think of it as an investment. Ladies watches with diamonds easily loses 50% off their list price, if not more, once it's out of the retail store. Gone are the days of rapid price appreciation, these days, it's about lost minimization excercise.
I like the Breguet a lot more. Very romantic watch, with good history and more interesting then the Patek, IMHO. Patek will retain more of its monetary value, but frankly, these watches are "personal history" watches, and not to be resold....so don't be too perturbed by its street price.
