What most folks here will tell you is to go with the one that speaks most to your heart! The Patek is clearly very classical and will be a piece that will not go out of style. However, the Breguet is (to me at least) more distinctive and also a very lovely choice. A lot depends on who you are -- if you are more businesslike and sober, perhaps the Patek -- but if you are more of a "girly girl" (and I do not say this to be insulting, as my wife, who is a Doctor, is very feminine and loves colorful clothing, jewelry, and watches of the highest quality) then you may find that the Breguet speaks to you most.
Please do not buy a watch expecting its value to increase! But please do keep us informed of your thought process and decision.
