If a used watch shows no
signs of wear, many used watch dealers will market the watch as being in "unworn condition" Nobody can say what a used watch has gone through while owned by other folks, now can they. This does not mean it was never worn just that it shows no signs of wear. Many of these so-called unworn watches have indeed been worn. A true unworn watch is still unsealed from the manufacturer. Unsealed used watches are almost never literally unworn.

To me, it should not be marketed as unworn. If the watch is in gold, there will more than likely be micro-scratches and swirling. If the protective stickers are still on then fine that can be classified as unworn.

I know that this process leads to scratches and dongs as well but anyway they are marketed as unworn. I am actually more afraid of those timepieces that have had their time in windows

I just saw this now, and tend to agree with the previous friends -- assuming that's the extent this watch got worn, I think it is fair to advertise it as 'unworn' (plus, that the video is on the same site would also seem evidence of good faith ;-)
