unworn-the watchcase should be clear of the fine wear marks that get there when worn under a shirt cuff etc
in other words it should be pristine and as it left the factory polishing machine.

To me, it should not be marketed as unworn. If the watch is in gold, there will more than likely be micro-scratches and swirling. If the protective stickers are still on then fine that can be classified as unworn.

I know that this process leads to scratches and dongs as well but anyway they are marketed as unworn. I am actually more afraid of those timepieces that have had their time in windows

I just saw this now, and tend to agree with the previous friends -- assuming that's the extent this watch got worn, I think it is fair to advertise it as 'unworn' (plus, that the video is on the same site would also seem evidence of good faith ;-)
However, I would also query the seller on *their* definition of 'unworn' (and ask whether any other 'wearing' took place), just for peace of mind ;-) Looking forward to seeing it on your wrist Uncle Chico, if all goes as expected! Cheers.
