Horological Meandering

I understand and philosophically agree

KIH,

This is why I have always shied away from gold to steel. I am more attracted to the white metals. I do like the color of copper though, and I thought the piece would stand out from my current crop partially due to the hue of the metal.

I guess that I should clarify what I mean by formal. It means different things to different people.

The watch is not for black tie events.  I do not go to those other than a wedding once in a blue moon.  It is for 10 or so evenings when we go out to a formal restaurant or for formal business occaisions where I wear a suit which are becoming rarer and rarer these days. Today, I can wear my JLC RDM in steel today, my or my GO PML  all which are steel and have complications.  I was looking for a simple and elegant red gold watch, not to be noticed by anyone else but myself.

Thanks,

Bob
