it might be old, it might be cheap, it might be lightly worn and it might be oriental, but to me it is just that little bit special. it is the Seiko 5710-8980 Manual wind chronograph made for the 1964 Olympic games. firstly its from 1964, secondly its the first chronograph Seiko ever produced. its a 1 button 60 second chrono just like the Omega chronostop from the 1968 Olympics, but made 4 years earlier. this particular watch was made in October 64 so i was 2 months old. another one to my collection of 64's. when will it ever stop???????????????

ahh it worked, life is nearly back to normal

hopefully this and my new as yet to be seen and announced item will be here by xmas or i wont get any prezzies
