I like that it appears to be vintage
Movado hasn't done much lately that I like. But the design here is iconic and in gold or gold fill/plate it is definitely unique. As for getting it in quartz, this watch does not typify a quartz watch--I mean, there's not a good reason to get it specifically in quartz. Citizen is the king of quartz at the highest level--and gives a collector or watch aficionado really something to get into in terms of what a quartz can achieve.
This is a perfect candidate for a quartz movement.
At least to me this watch is all about the dial and case. Sort of like a Tank the movement is running a distant second to the most visible aesthetics. Additionally it has a fascinating (and frustrating for George Horwitt) history. https://www.fratellowatc...

Citizen 0100 would certainly satisfy. accuracy unparalleled in quartz dial side not as interesting as the Movado though (imo) pics: Hodinkee ...
