I have to say that collectors and users of WPS are probably not the main target of these watches. IF so, they would never cross the dial with a "CHRONOMETRE" printing on it. Just a small inscription under Tissot would have been sufficient.
That being said, the date has become a must-have to sell watches, however, it would have been more subtle to have it on a black disk with golden figures just to remind a bit the numerals on the dial.
Last but not least, I am happy to see that mechanical watches at entry level still has buoyant offerings (Tissot, Certina etc...)
i like the no date models, in special the salmon. 39x11mm, 2824-2 chronometer. Delicious little onion crown.
If the word Chronometre was smaller and it were handwound it would be even better. 875€. Good release.
Apart the small second one,
with its (to my eyes) messy dial (more than the date, is the small second position that disturb me), I really like this design, with refined details like the font of the numbers, the tapered hands, the crown, the thin bezel… also the strap is very nice! C...
