The ones you mentioned have almost no horological value. If the idea is to definitely buy 5 I would suggest JLC as a watch for suit (Reverso 1931 or Master ultra thin), any mechanical grand seiko for casual purposes (Snowflake) or Rolex and 3 quartz watch...

The Calatrava would definitely be my main pick, but I do have a soft spot for the Saxona. Lange 1 is a mighty good choice too, but I personally like the symmetry and simplicity of the Saxonia as an everyday timepiece. This is all hypothetical of course. T...

The only real exception is the Omega. It has a wonderful caliber 1863. I do not mean the the watches you mentioned are low quality. They are good robust watches, but that’s all. The Paul Newman Rolex is more a symbol than a watch.

Hi Think my choices would be rather different. Though wouldn't disagree about the speedy. I'd want at least 1 JLC, and a nice alarm ( that could be one watch!) So Memovox or ultra thin. I'd also be tempted to look at used/ pre owned. Would make it all go ... 

£15k is actually a lot to spend on 5 watches in my opinion and one can get some really good watches at this price. In fact, I am sure I could do a good 5 watches for £10k (sorry, just showing off here ) 1. Tudor Black Bay 36 - great value watch at under £...
