Horological Meandering

Honestly, I am intrigued.

Chubb is a well-known insurer, so Hodinkee is certainly working with an established carrier.

What Hodinkee appears to be doing here is no different than what hundreds of professional associations do routinely -- namely, offering their membership insurance packages through established insurance companies.  Ostensibly, the members benefit from favorable rates that are based upon group participation.

I think it's a neat idea.

Now, are the rates competitive?  Will the claims process be easy to navigate?  All fair questions -- but, certainly worthy of further exploration.
