Hmmm tough question ...
.... and this is maybe why it is so difficult sometime to be sure of our own choice and to be sure not to make any mistake at least once in our collection. It is difficult to understand and recognize out there what meet our feelings and spiritual needs.
I guess the source is to be found in our childhood, how we were raised and what we faced, what parents or relatives teached and left us: from classicism to contemporary trends, staying conservative or exploring unknown paths. It is a balance between what reassures ourselves or what is scary about what we don't know but we are excited to discover in the mean time.
We may be able to find many different aspects of our personnality in every direction, not only in one. This leads to have an ecletic taste maybe ....
May we keep on travelling through our needs !

in many ways< I havent changed...still buying Indies, almost same Langes, swap AP ROOs ltd eds for Hublot ones, still buy Omega Speedies from the 60/70s with cal 861s, PAMs after PAMs, from RM010 to RM035...sigh, actually, only difference is my distast...

Cycles are often connected to money. But whatever, what matters is the flame that keeps on moving you forward. Still i'm astonished that you keep almost everything you buy. Basically, you better think very well before triggering. Its a pressure you put on...

I like eclectic collections
Many times I see and admire creation collectors...vintage, Patek, chronographs, Panerai, Indie etc etc...but I truly believe that having the ability to love all forms and crafts of horology is something to be treasured and enjoying a vintage sports rolex ...
