Horological Meandering

Hi John!

Firstly well done on the Eichi, one of the best kept secrets in horology - a watch with such fine finishing and almost a bargain compared to some of the other finely finished watch brands.

Unlike the majority on this site, I am pretty critical when it comes to size and I think the Eichi might be either perfect or slightly too large for you. The test for me is if you are able to take a photo of the watch lying flat on your wrist and if the lugs curve around your wrist, then the watch fits your wrist fine. If it sticks out even a little, it is too large! This is purely my personal definition of whether a watch fits one's wrist but to me when one is spending so much on a watch, it has to be perfect, nothing less.

Based on the above, I am quite sure that the FPJ T30 and the Laurent Ferrier tourbillon will be too large for you (unless their lugs are seriously curved!). I am pretty sure many here will disagree with me but this is purely my personal thoughts.
