Apologies that I'm so late in responding. Dalibor Farny is indeed an amazing fella. Look for more great art pieces that he will be involved in, coming in the near future. This artist/engineer is involved with several art projects and was commissioned by a famous Japanese museum to create a piece that will debut later this year.

The tubes are huge. Nearly 13 cm from base to tip! Beautifully proportioned too. Tube amps for audio systems are really cool. But I saw a "clean power supply" for audio systems that used a tube too; that one got me thinking.

Always appreciate your comments. It'd be nice to get one with six tubes. The six tubes but this same clean architectural design. Sometimes I want some more "movement" and the seconds would add a nice amount of movement.

Mine has been good so far...
Some user error. I programmed it to go dark at night. But then I thought it was broken after coming back from a trip where I hadn't seen the clock for a few days. Then I remembered I set the clock to turn off at night so it would use less electricity.
