Heard that a member of our crew expressed some interest in the new Kurono w/Metorite dial, so I paid a quick visit today to their Aoyama boutique...
and took a couple of quick shots.
As with other Kuronos, I came away with the impression that the watch is photogenic-- it looks a lot better on their website (and perhaps in my photos) than in the metal.
At the center of an already smallish 37mm, the meteorite didn't give off any special vibe that one might expect, imho.
This new model also continues the use, unfortunately, of the stamped hour and minute hands that, well, look very simply stamped.
As for positives, I did like the colorway and dial's layout.
Ymmv, of course.

Yes, I agree.
It seems to be working for them, though. When I visited the shop, people were streaming in ! (looked mostly like visitors from abroad)

And they are all less appealing than in photos.

I learned that years back, when I got my first (and only) one without having seen it in the metal.
I love almost all meteorite dials....
But this one is easily among the least effective, even judging from pictures.... It's far too small, plain and without contrast. Not a bad watch per se, but not one I would spend money on myself. Cheers, Filip
