GS bracelets always felt flimsy to me, removing links is a pain, most problematically they look cheap.

Maybe you are right and it is more about the aesthetics.
On the quality of the dials it is hard to argue, indeed exceptional. But why do you think that GS movements are superior? Watching the Speake Martin deconstructions that's far from the obvious to me ...

Seiko’s spring drive are amazing. However for the more traditional mechanical movement I think Rolex new 32xx series are much better then GS...at least for now. I own both brand and they both bring joy of ownership!

The clasp is more technologically advanced but that’s it. Personally I even don’t like quick adjustment clasps – too big and bulky, they disturb the overall appeal. In terms of quality Grand Seiko is superior in every aspect. Dials are even superior to Pa...
