I am not stopping by as often as I used to so I am a bit late but a pleasure to read your post. I still enjoy my H1
but it hasn't turned out to be an endgame watch. I have made fun of the H8 - H9 before but I now agree it is probably a more enlightened choice, and it doesn't have some of the quirks of the H1. My watch addiction is currently in remission so I am not sure what the endgame watch would be but the one I am very content wearing almost always now is the Datograph Perpetual on the bracelet, especially given the incessant heat.
