Finally back!

After 3 months waiting, this just came back from full service by IWC Switzerland. Bought it pre-owned, I had prepared for some servicing cost, but still a bit surprised they quoted me USD 800... A bit steep. But they replace all the gaskets, crown tube pushers, barrel, Chrono wheel, clutch, second hand, polished the case, water resistant test and demagnetization. Essentially it came back almost a mint watch.
IWC was my favourite brand, partly because it was my first "real" mechanical watch, it was my wedding watch (The Pilot Mark XVI, which I regretfully sold). The solid fit and finish, the function over form, the comfort of the bracelet, especially on pilot bracelet, is amazing.
Not fond of their lately designs, I was looking for a good condition Mark XV but none satisfied me with reasonable price. So when I saw this Pilot 3706 in good deal, I snapped it without hesitation.
Love the perfect 39 mm size and classic font and hands. There are not many chronograph in this size with full 12 hour counter, date and day display, without sacrificing (read : Cut-out) any hour marker or numbers.
