Dunhill petrolhead

Hi folks just thought I’d post a few pics of my dunhill watch for you fine folks to give me your thoughts. Picked it up about 10yrs ago brand new from dunhill boutique. The case design is quite unique and is made to resemble the wheel spinners that hold the wire wheels in position on the old style classic sports cars. The winding crown is flush with the case and pulls out when required also the power reserve Is made to resemble the dashboard fuel gauge. I believe it was ltd to 1500 pieces is powered by ETA 2824-2 with a Dubois Depraz module bolted on for the power reserve the quality of case/strap and clasp really are very nice indeed. Thanks for looking.

Yes dunhill had quite a few very interesting pieces a few years back and yes the petrolhead wheel watch was indeed designed by Tom Bolt.

Thank you 👍 [nt]
