Don't leave jewelry in your car.

Oct 08, 2019,19:51 PM

I saw earlier this evening that a rapper's wife had $750,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her SUV.  Not just any SUV, but a 2019

Lamborghini SUV.  According to the article the jewelry was in a blue velour bag on the console.  Watches, wedding rings
and earrings.  It was mentioned that security didn't see anything suspicious.

Would it be safe for me to leave my velour bag full of jewels in the backseat of my SUV Lamborghini?

...who am I kidding. I walk to the office or on rare days take the subway. Not sure if it is safe to wear a Rolex on the NYC Subway, so I just stick with a Patek Philippe.

Security did not see anything suspicious? That might make me even more suspicious. Something fishy here.

One should not leave the house with that much jewelry unless it remains on their person... and even then...???

Very silly

to leave all that stuff in an unattended vehicle especially one which would draw attention. Some folks do not care about nice stuff. If it gets stolen they just buy something else. One day they wake up and realize they are broke.
