Don't dismiss watches without actually trying them on.
Most watches will wear differently eventhough, on paper, they're of similar dimensions. My Speedmaster 38 co-axial wears a lot thinner than it's stated 14.9mm thickness. Automatic, shockproof, anti-magnetic and waterproof up to 100 meters. Sporty enough for aquatic activities and dressy enough for formal occasions. It's served me well for the last three years.

The SBGC line has relatively small, non-screw down pushers. Might be worth a look. I believe Habrings are all non screw down but have a WR of 50m, so you can comfortably swim with them

It appears you're correct. However..
it wears considerably smaller than its specs imply. Also, unlike the others you've mentioned, it's buttons can be used to full (300m) depth.
