Getting a riefler is definitely a (very) long term goal of mine... but if someone built something similar in the 21st century, I would be all over it.

Because i know for fact she'd want one.

They're rare. And with clocks now going to receive more media coverage than before, I have a feeling that clocks are going to soon be setting major trends too! We can only wear one watch at a time, but we can use multiple clocks simultaneously and have on... 

...the less I give a sh__ about resale. When i die does 'resale' matter? Besides, am already giving away things to places when I pass, so they / their students can benefit. Hopefully Jean Todt will be giving back to watchmakers when he sells his timepiece... 

That's absolutely true! Resale is not on my radar neither. As I imagine clocks aren't easy to resell and I've got too many of them.

They can also be A LOT of fun to 'play with' if they've been designed as such For example, a great clock can help serve drinks... . . . . Or be fun for the holidays... . . . Of help fix other clocks... . . . . But sometimes they can be a bit 'naughty' (!)...  

Oh this is a fun post! Thank you for this super humorous post! I really like clocks. But overall, clocks aren't popular on WPS. So writing extensive articles on clocks doesn't really benefit the website much. But WPS has always been a trendsetter, and I b...
