What should win GPHG 2022? The first year of the all-new Mechanical Clock prize!

Photo: 2021 GPHG was won by the Bulgari Octo Finissimo!

The awards for GPHG is only a few days away!

What are your favorite watches and clock for GPHG 2022?

Here's the list of all the nominated timepieces:

And remember, this is the first year of the all-new Mechanical Clock prize.  A prize that partially originated thanks to Miki Eleta's "Svemir" (Croatian/Bosnian language for Universe) clock that was a finalist at GPHG last year (where it was put into the Mechanical Exceptions Category).  So what is your favorite clock?  Mine is of course the Miki Eleta that has been entered into this year's competition.

More about my recent discovery of the category defining Miki Eleta and his clocks here:

I look forward to reading your thoughts!

I think this amazing clock titled "Passage of Time" by Miki Eleta should win the Mechanical Clock Category for 2022.  It's an amazing piece, all made by hand, without the use of computers!

The winners of all the categories of the 2021 GPHG are on stage.  Some winners are burdened with two trophies if they won two categories!

The winner of 2021's GPHG must have been announced right at 8:30PM!

I discovered the Miki Eleta clock only last year in 2021 at the GPHG and at the 2021 November Dubai Watch Week.

Miki Eletta makes his watches entirely by hand.  Sketching the concept by hand and crafting every component without the use of any computers..  No Computer Aided Design (CAD) nor any CNC machines.

This is Svemir, or Universe, by Miki Eleta.  It was an entrant to the 2021 GPHG.

So.  What are your favorite watches and clock for GPHG 2022?  I look forward to your thoughts and comments!
