It's not just reliability. As others have stated, the subsequent poor treatment by brands when issues arise, months in service, and fear that your watch will come back even worse than before all make this a hugely terrible experience. Sometimes owning a hyper car means lots of maintenance and less reliability but at least when you go for service, warranty or otherwise, the dealership usually tries to make the experience as nice as possible and get you back on the road as quickly as they can. They understand that TIME is valuable for their clients. Time to come to the shop, down time for your car, the time involved in returning the car if the repairs are not completed correctly. Ironically, the watch brands don't care about our time at all. Multiple trips to the boutique for defective watches? A year for service? Suck it up and you better buy something else in the interim if you want the next hot piece.
