I am interested if Laurent Ferrier and DeBethune will survive. Ochs und Junior and Lang & Heyne seemed to be attempting to remake themselves after big changes and I imagine 2020 has put a big question to their survival.
Hopefully Habring2 is doing well! I have a feeling they are okay.
At least we can be certain Rolex is well, as they have better savings and cashflow than many small countries!

Sometimes bankruptcy doesnt mean closure
Sometimes it is a strategic step taken to make the company stronger albeit at the expense of the creditors and the shareholders.
Some other independents are staying very strong, with delivery times in the months or even years.
Just a guess, but it must have hit the ones, that were already kind of weak before the crisis, no?
Its sad to hear .
Hope there will be no big names within these 33 companies. But any watch company that’s going under is a loss for us imho

They even told me they are looking to add another watchmaker to the team. Thankfully some independents are doing well, despite the health crisis.

There might be investors picking it up at a discount. It could be a way to get rid of debt and start afresh. Hopefully the skills remain saved for the industry. And for those owning one, I hope the movement is built in such a way that well trained watchma...

... Of HYT. But if I did own one I'd be worried about who would service that liquid filled marvel. I predict some white knight will ride in with capital and save the avant-garde watch company.
