Bankruptcy isn’t necessarily the end

 


There might be investors picking it up at a discount. It could be a way to get rid of debt and start afresh.

Hopefully the skills remain saved for the industry.

And for those owning one, I hope the movement is built in such a way that well trained watchmakers from other brands can maintain and or repair the existing watches.

Such a scenario is what’s been holding me back every time from buying from and Independant. Yes I realize: Vacheron, Patek they can all go bankrupt.

But the continuity risk with an independent is simply much higher (well in my view)
