Blue Sky Mania or Future Classic?

After having read Baron's 6 part Future Classics I've been obsessed and having already purchased a 168000 and 16760 I set my eyes on a Kermit. But then I got to thinking that the Blue Sky Dweller basically being impossible to get in my lifetime unless I suddenly become a 7 figure spender at my local AD maybe already a Classic? With the average AD getting one per year and the demand being hundreds per AD that equals 0.00 chance of getting one unless I buy on the aftermarket at 50% premium. My first reaction was to recoil at the very thought of that. But watching the secondary market go from 121 Blue SDs on Chrono to 60 in 3 weeks means these watches are selling. Which begs the question is this a mania or a good investment in the future?

On the one hand I'm thinking this watch will always be impossible to get without paying secondary market prices(higher & higher) while the Kermit is still readily available. On the other hand I'm thinking will the market be flooded with Blue Dials one day since it's still in production and no reason for Rolex to discontinue  while the Kermit MK 1 Dial is done forever. It's a dilemma I can't seem to settle in my mind.

So I'm interested to hear what some thoughts are from the more seasoned collectors here. Would you buy the Kermit/MK 1 Dial or the Blue Sky Dweller. With a few givens.
1. That your affection for both is equal
2. Prices are fairly equal.
3. Your affection for your hard earned dollars is greater than the affection for either watch.
4. You plan to wear and enjoy both for the foreseeable future but either sell or pass down to your children sometime in the future.
